the best way to see the beaity of Vermont, especially in the autumn is to get off the hard roads and explore the gravel back roads. Forrest roads minding through the back country are peaceful, quiet and eye candy. This painting was sold at the Southern Vermont Art Centers June show.

I'm Ken Ahlering and I paint realistic Images of America in oil..Mostly self-taught, I have been painting for over 60 years..Early on I became interested in fine art, always attracted to realistic drawings and oil paintings.
